Refunds & Returns Policy

Thank you for shopping with the American Poultry Association! We appreciate your support of America’s first livestock organization devoted exclusively to poultry.

Please review the following policy carefully before making your purchase.


General Return Policy

Due to the nature of our organization—and the limited-run or print-to-order nature of many of our products—all sales are considered final. However, we understand that issues can arise and are committed to making things right when possible.


Returns Eligibility

We accept returns or exchanges only under the following conditions:

  • The item was damaged in transit or arrived defective

  • You received the wrong item (size, color, or product)

  • You contacted us within 14 days of receiving your order

To be eligible, items must be unused, in their original condition, and in the original packaging.


How to Request a Return or Exchange

If your order meets the criteria above:

  1. Contact us at secretary@amerpoultryassn.com with:

    • Your order number

    • A description of the issue

    • Clear photos of the item (if damaged or incorrect)

  2. Wait for return authorization and instructions before mailing anything back.

  3. Once approved, we will issue a replacement or refund, depending on the nature of the issue and product availability.


Refunds (If Applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email. If your refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 7–14 business days.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Digital products and downloads

  • Yearbooks or past editions once opened

  • Apparel that has been worn or washed

  • Limited-edition or clearance items


Shipping Costs

Shipping charges are non-refundable.

If your return is approved due to an error on our part—such as receiving a damaged or incorrect item—we will cover the return shipping costs. You will receive a prepaid return label with instructions once your return is authorized.

For all other approved returns (e.g., exchanges requested due to size or accidental orders), the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your return.

Returned items must be mailed back in their original packaging and condition within 14 days of receiving return authorization.
